How can I choose a subscription during my trial period?

  • When you select another subscription in the Lucy Store during your free trial period, you cannot pay immediately because your trial period is still running. To take advantage of the offer, you must select the desired plan by clicking the 'Change' button.

The chosen subscription will be stored and confirmed in the text next to the subscriptions. Note: if you choose Business Pro during the trial period, a pop-up will appear with the message 'Switch to Free'. You can safely click 'Change Plan'. The plan will be saved in the background, but it will not be confirmed in the text next to the subscriptions. This is a display error.

At the end of the trial period, a pop-up will appear, directing you to the Store via the 'Choose a Plan' button. The subscription you selected during the trial is already chosen.

By clicking the 'Change Plan' button, you will be able to proceed with payment on the next screen.

It's important to know that although the payment occurs later, you retain your right to the applicable temporary €2 discount. Due to a display error, the full amount of your plan (4 euros, 10 euros, or 15 euros) is currently shown in the right panel. You don't need to worry about missing out on this discount.

Will I receive a notification at the end of my trial period?

  • No, there is no notification at the end of the trial period. Upon your next login attempt to Lucy, a pop-up will appear allowing you to activate the desired subscription in your account.

How can I change my subscription?

  • You can adjust your subscription at any time via 'Settings' under 'Subscription'. When you choose a higher plan, the new plan is activated immediately. In the case of a downgrade, the new plan will only be activated at the beginning of the following month in the account.

What payment methods are available for paying a plan in the Lucy Store?

  • It is not possible to pay for a plan via bank transfer. The currently available payment methods are the following:
    • Credit cards and Debit cards
    • Bancontact app
    • Mobile Pay (KBC and Belfius)

Why is the amount I have to pay less than 2 EUR?

If your trial period does not end on the last day of the month and you wish to subscribe, you will be billed on a pro rata basis for the remaining days of the current month. This results in a reduced payment.

Will any information be lost if I change my subscription?

  • No, your data will remain intact when you change your subscription. You'll only lose access to certain features. You can compare available features in each plan by using 'Compare Plans'.

Can I subscribe to an annual plan?

  • It is not possible to subscribe to an annual plan as subscriptions are billed monthly. If you don't want to renew your plan manually each month, you can activate direct debit when paying for a plan. This allows Mollie to debit your account monthly, automatically renewing your subscription each month.

Can I add multiple users? Is there a limit?

  • Starting from Lucy Business, you can add an unlimited number of users via 'Settings' under 'Users'. For each additional user, a monthly fee of €2.50 (excl. VAT) is charged per user on top of the plan.

Do I have to choose a paid plan at the end of my trial period?

  • At the end of your trial period, a pop-up will appear when you log in, offering you the choice of a paid plan or our free version, the Lucy-inbox.

Note: the Lucy-inbox is only available for entrepreneurs registered with Lucy through their accountant. Self-onboarders without a connection to an accountant cannot select this option.

How can I change the payment method for my invoice?

  • Currently, Lucy does not offer an option to directly change the payment method. If you want to change your payment method, you can downgrade to the Lucy-inbox or cancel your plan if the Lucy-inbox is not available for you. Once you do this, the current payment method will be automatically canceled on the first day of the next month. When you downgrade to the Lucy-inbox, your account is moved at the beginning of the next month to the Lucy-inbox. You can then choose the desired subscription and pay with the new bank account. If your plan was canceled, you won't be able to select a new plan at the end of the month. Contact support to reactivate your account.

Where can I find a copy of my invoice?

  • When you activate direct debit via Mollie, or if you manually renew your subscription each month, you will automatically receive your invoice in your Lucy-inbox at the time of payment.

How do I end my subscription?

  • Via 'Settings' under 'Subscription', you can cancel your subscription if you no longer wish to use Lucy's services. To later take out a subscription again, you will need to contact Lucy Support to reactivate your account.

Are there limits on the number of uploaded documents or created sales invoices in Lucy?

  • There are no limits on the number of documents you can upload or the number of sales invoices you can create in Lucy.

Is it possible to activate only the Lucy inbox to receive my invoices via Peppol, and is this free?

  • If you do not create invoices yourself and only want to receive your purchase invoices via Peppol, you can activate the Lucy inbox in your account. This plan is free and exclusively available to entrepreneurs who collaborate with an accountant and have designated an accountant in their Lucy environment.
